GFWC Special Project: “Advocates for Children”

The objective of the Advocates for Children Program, the GFWC Junior Special Project, is to encourage members to become active advocates for children by working to protect children from harmful situations, encourage healthy lifestyles, and prevent substance abuse and youth suicide.


Plans for the program include activities related to bullying, kids and cancers, WHALE kits, youth suicide, and child identification. For more information about “Advocates for Children”, contact the North Carolina GFWC Junior Special Project Chairman.
